A total Eclipse of Flavor

Whether you're into Astronomy or not, you've probably heard about the upcoming solar eclipse.

For those who may not know, a solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking any part of the Sun's bright face. It's a rare and captivating sight that reminds us of the beauty and mystery of the universe.

In Austin, where the duration of totality will be 1 minute and 53 seconds, the eclipse promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The partial eclipse will begin at 12:17pm CST, with the total eclipse taking place at 1:36pm CST and ending with the partial eclipse at 2:58pm CST.

We're so excited about the upcoming solar eclipse  - - so much so in fact that  we've created a pie worthy of the celebration! I'm thrilled to announce the launch of our latest creation: the Solar Eclipse "Moon Pie"! Our Moon Pie is a delicious combination of soft and fluffy vanilla bean marshmallow sandwiched between fresh baked graham crackers and dipped in rich  dark chocolate - - the rich, chocolatey layers represent the depths of space, and the vanilla bean marshmallow filling symbolizing the brilliance of the Sun. With each bite, you'll experience a taste of the celestial wonders above.

But that's not all! We want to ensure that our customers can safely enjoy the solar eclipse, so we encourage everyone to learn the simple methods for viewing it without risking their eyesight. Visit eclipse.aas.org/eye-safety for detailed instructions on how to safely view the solar eclipse and protect your vision.

So mark your calendars and set your alarms! Whether you're a seasoned eclipse chaser or simply looking for an excuse to indulge in some out-of-this-world fun, the solar eclipse will be worth viewing.

Be sure to swing by our shop and pick up your very own Solar Eclipse "Moon Pie" before they're gone on April 7 & 8th.  To ensure that we have one for you, you may pre-order before April 5th.

Join us as we raise a slice to the wonders of the cosmos – because here at Tiny Pies®, every bite is a taste of magic.
