Tiny Pies SXSW Happenings!

Every March in Austin brings about two things: bluebonnets & the annual South by Southwest Conference & Festival! From March 10 through March 19, every nook and cranny of our lovely City will play host to the latest in technology, art, film and music. Thousands of people from all over the world will descend upon us to party, party, party!

Not to be left out, Tiny Pies is joining the fun & participating in a few different events as well: 

TWIN PEAKS & TINY PIES 

Join us for some cherry pie and "damn fine coffee" to celebrate the return of the cult-classic Twin Peaks at the Showtime House. Clive Bar on Rainey Street will be transformed into the Double R Diner starting at noon on Thursday, March 16th & Friday, March 17th. Musical acts include Neko Case, M. Ward, and Real Estate. RSVPs are required, but do not guarantee entry.

GHOST IN THE SHELL OUTDOOR SCREENING 

On Tuesday, March 14th, a free outdoor screening of the legendary anime film by Mamoru Oshii will be held at the Long Center at 8pm. First 100 attendees will receive a Live Action GHOST IN THE SHELL poster courtesy of Paramount and pie courtesy of us!

The Austin Chronicle and Austin Independent Business Alliance present Austin X Austin - a "celebration of local businesses and creative communities" from March 11th - 19th. Stop by Tiny Pies on Saturday, March 11th for a live performance around 1pm by rapper SaulPaul as he creates a new song on the spot at our Burnet shop (5035 Burnet Road).

PIE PAINTINGS BY ARTIST DEBBIE LITTLE-WILSON

As part of the Austin X Austin festivities, both our Burnet Rd & South Lamar locations will be displaying pie-themed collage paintings by artist Debbie Little-Wilson throughout March. All paintings will be for sale and on Wednesday, March 22nd we will be hosting an artist meet & greet at out South Lamar location from 6pm-8pm.  We'll be holding a raffle for a FREE 6-Pack of Tiny Pies as well as giving away a Not-So-Tiny Pie for every piece of art sold. RSVP here
